Antidote Connector: Access Antidote’s Tools from Your Browser
The Antidote Connector is a free Chrome extension developed by Druide informatique inc. that allows users to call upon Antidote’s tools directly from their browser. This convenient extension creates a menu in Google Chrome, linking the connector, dictionaries, and language guides to the browser.
To use Antidote’s tools, it is important to have access to Antidote through Antidote 11 or 10, Antidote+, or Antidote Web, as these tools are not included with the connector. Once installed, users can select a text and run it through the corrector using the extension menu. The Antidote application will open to process the text, and any changes made in the corrector will automatically be applied to the original text in Google Chrome.
In addition to the corrector, the menu also provides access to the dictionaries and language guides. Users can select a word and click on one of these resources in the extension menu, which will open the relevant page for further information.
